Here at Highmoor Hounds we are dedicated to making your dog feel relaxed and calm in a home from home environment. We offer a variety of different grooming services, depending on the needs and lifestyle of your dog and we can advise the best treatments for them.

All appointments are on a one-to-one basis, they include a health check and a consultation to discuss any health conditions we need to be aware of before we groom your dog.

Regular appointments are essential for the health and welfare of your dog; to ensure your dog's nails can be trimmed to a comfortable length and to ensure a healthy knot/ matt free coat. Overgrown nails and matting are extremely painful.

Grooming Packages

Puppy Groom

We love puppies at Highmoor Hounds and we recommend that you bring your puppy as soon as they have had their second vaccinations. By introducing your puppy as early as possible to grooming, we can familiarize them with handling and encourage their social skills. Dogs that come to us early and frequently are well-behaved, used to the routine, the groomer, the noise of the hairdryer and the environment.

A puppy groom includes:

· Washed in a natural shampoo

· Gentle blow dry

· Nails clipped and filed

· Tidy up around face, feet and eyes

· Coat brushed out

· Eyes and ears cleaned

Full Groom

· Bath (all natural products used)

· Drying - all dogs are dried by hand

· Brushing

· De-tangling

· Clipping or scissor finishing

· Hygiene area cleaned

· Eyes, and ears cleansed

· Nails cut and filed

· Dental Check / Fresh Minty breath foam

· Scented Fragrance or coat conditioning Spray.

Mini Groom

Perfect for in-between grooms to keep curly coats free from any knots and tangles.

Bath (all natural products used).
Hygiene area and pads shaved
Tidy up around face, eyes and feet
Nails clipped and filed
Spritz of perfume

De- shedding

Perfect for short haired and double coated breeds this intense treatment penetrates deep into the skin and hair follicles, helping to release dead hair and prevent excess shedding, whilst hydrating and cleaning the coat, leaving it conditioned smelling sweet and looking fabulous.

The coat will be washed and dried to lift out the dead hair, we then use de shedding tools to remove all the dead hair resulting in a glossy coat and less house work for you.

Bath, Brush & Blow dry

This is perfect for short haired breeds or ideal for after muddy walks or trips to the beach. It Includes:

Washed using natural products
Blow dry
Coat brushed out
Spritz of perfume
